How we handle your data when you visit this website or contact us. Clear and complete.
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
The data protection officer is Achim Jaeger. You can reach him at the controller's address stated above and by email at info@vertriebsimpuls.de. You can also use these contact details for any questions about data protection.
This website is hosted by an external service provider in a data centre in the European Union. The provider processes the data generated when you access the website only on our behalf and in line with our instructions. Under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, the provider is bound to confidentiality and to appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
Each time you access a page, the server automatically collects data sent by your browser and stores it in server log files:
We cannot assign this data to a specific person, and we do not combine it with other data sources. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in technically error free operation, delivery of the website and defence against attacks. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time, at the latest after seven days, unless a security incident requires longer storage.
For security reasons, and to protect the transfer of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection when your browser's address bar begins with "https://" and shows a lock symbol. When encryption is active, third parties cannot read the data you send to us.
We do not need advertising or tracking cookies for the basic operation of this website. We only store your own decision about optional services. For this, we use a consent tool that we operate ourselves. It works without external providers and without any connection to third parties.
When you make a selection in the consent banner, we store that selection on your device:
We store the version of the consent format, the time of your decision and the categories you have approved (necessary, statistics, marketing). The storage period is 12 months. After that, we ask you again. No data is sent to us or to third parties. The decision remains on your device.
Storing the consent decision itself is technically necessary so that we can apply your choice. It takes place under Section 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG without separate consent. Storing information for optional services, and accessing that information, takes place only with your consent pursuant to Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, open the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
Google Analytics 4 is not currently integrated into this website. No data is sent to Google. If we use the service in future, we will do so only after your prior consent via the consent banner. No analytics script will load without consent. So that you know what this would involve, we already describe the service in full here.
The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to evaluate the use of a website. If used, the data processed would include in particular the shortened IP address, date and time of the visit, pages accessed, time spent, referrer URL, approximate location at country and city level, and device, browser and operating system information.
IP address shortening is a feature of the Google Analytics 4 service itself, not a setting on this website. According to the provider, IP addresses in Google Analytics 4 are generally shortened and not logged. If the service were used, Google would therefore shorten your IP address within the European Union before any further processing. Transfer to Google LLC in the USA could not be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so an adequacy decision by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR exists for such a transfer. Before using the service, we would also conclude a data processing agreement with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
The legal basis would be solely your consent under Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. We would limit the storage period for data collected at user and event level to 14 months, after which it would be deleted automatically. You could withdraw any consent given at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can find more information about the service in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We use our own reach measurement, operated on our servers, to understand which content is read. Measurement starts only after you have approved the statistics category in the consent banner. Without this consent, the measurement script is not loaded. We collect the page accessed, source page (referrer), device type and browser family, approximate location at country level, time of access and time spent. We do this without cookies for recognising devices across sessions and without creating usage profiles across different websites.
The location is determined from the IP address using a local database on our own server. The IP address itself is not stored, but is used together with the browser identifier only temporarily to calculate a pseudonym that changes daily. The data remains with us and is neither passed to third parties nor used for advertising purposes. The legal basis is your consent under Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time via the Cookie settings in the footer.
This website loads all fonts locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts servers or to other web font providers. When the fonts load, your IP address is therefore not sent to any third party.
Videos on this website are delivered directly from our own server and played in your browser's player. We do not embed YouTube, Vimeo or any other external video service. When videos play, no connections to third parties are created and no cookies from video platforms are set.
For written contact, we provide two forms: the form on the discovery call page and the enquiry dialog that opens on every page of this website via the buttons for a discovery call or a keynote enquiry. Both forms send the data you enter to our own server. Transmission is encrypted via TLS over HTTPS. We store the information there so that we can process your enquiry.
We process the information you enter in the relevant form: your name, your company, where applicable your position, your email address, your phone number, a preferred time period and your message. We also record which page of this website the enquiry was sent from. Mandatory fields are marked as such in the form. All other information is voluntary. If you contact us by email or phone instead, we process the information you provide to us in that context. We use your enquiries only to handle your request and do not pass them to third parties for advertising purposes.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, where your enquiry serves the performance of a contract or pre contract measures. In all other cases, we base processing on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or, where given, on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
We delete your enquiry as soon as it has been dealt with and no statutory obligations prevent storage. Retention periods under commercial and tax law of six or ten years remain unaffected.
You can subscribe to our ImpulsGeber magazine as a newsletter. You do not subscribe on this website. The subscription buttons and links take you to a sign-up page run by our newsletter service provider at seu1.cleverreach.com. This website does not collect any newsletter data and sends nothing to the provider unless you click one of these links.
The sign-up page and newsletter delivery are provided by CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany. Your data is processed there only when you open the sign-up page. We are responsible for processing your sign-up data as part of the newsletter service. CleverReach acts for us as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
Subscription uses a double opt-in process. After you enter your email address, you receive a message with a confirmation link. We add you to the mailing list only when you click this link. This ensures that nobody can enter another person’s address. As proof, we store the time of subscription, the time of confirmation and the IP address used at that point.
The legal basis for processing is your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. Every issue contains an unsubscribe link. Alternatively, a simple message to info@vertriebsimpuls.de. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected. After you unsubscribe, we delete your address from the mailing list. We keep the subscription records for as long as needed to prove the consent originally given.
For details of which further data CleverReach processes on the sign-up page and when sending the newsletter, please see the provider’s privacy policy at cleverreach.com/de-de/datenschutz.
In the footer, we link to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Xing. These are simple text links, not social media plugins. No data is sent to the operators of these networks unless you click one of these links. The privacy rules of the relevant network apply only when you follow a link. We have no control over processing there.
We do not pass your data to third parties for advertising purposes and we do not sell it. Access is given only to service providers who support us in running this website and our communications, in particular our hosting, email and newsletter providers. They are contractually bound under Art. 28 GDPR and process data only on our instructions. Data is transferred to countries outside the European Union only if the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met.
You can buy the book “Potential: Beschwerde” through a payment page hosted by Stripe at buy.stripe.com. This page is not part of this website. You leave our service when you click the order button, and the payment data entered there does not reach us. Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland, acts as an independent controller for the payment process. You can find details in Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/de/privacy.
You have the following rights towards us in relation to personal data concerning you:
To exercise these rights, send a simple message to info@vertriebsimpuls.de.
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you where that processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or lit. f GDPR. On this website, this applies in particular to processing that we base on a legitimate interest, such as server log files and answering enquiries. If you object, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
If your data is processed for direct marketing, you have the right to object to this processing at any time and without giving reasons. After such an objection, we will no longer use your data for direct marketing.
To object, send a simple message to info@vertriebsimpuls.de. No specific form is required.
Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for us is:
You can also contact the supervisory authority for your place of residence or workplace.
Automated decision making, including profiling under Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place. This website does not use an AI chatbot, does not carry out emotion recognition and does not use biometric systems. We explain how we used generative AI to create content on our AI transparency page.
We update this privacy policy when the legal position, our processing or the services we use change. If we use web analytics in future, we will update this policy first and obtain your consent through the consent banner. The version published here applies at all times.
